Stay Classy, San Diego!

Stay Classy, San Diego!

What was popular in March? Consumer security and various news posts topped the list! I’m also working out the kinks on getting my daily links posted here.

Here are the five most popular posts from last month:

  1. The Social Security Office, an Identity Thief’s Heaven! You know your spouse cares about your livelihood when she (he) points out massive identity theft opportunities at your local Social Security Office!  Check out this wacky story based on my wife’s experience.
  2. The Mistakes QSAs Make. This one is a brand new post, but is getting a ton of attention. Well, it’s getting reads, but NO COMMENTS!  I need your comments folks!  I presented to the DFW PCI group my thoughts, but want to hear more.  Once I have this compiled, I’ll do a detailed series of postings on the blog, and record my presentation for everyone.
  3. EMC/RSA Expand Security Consulting Services. Shameless plug.  Check out what I’ve been working on for the last several months!
  4. Sample Book Chapter posted! CSO Online posted a sample chapter from Anton Chuvakin and my book.  It’s the compensating control chapter, one of my favorites!
  5. Compliance, Easier than Security! This post is yet another gem from Seth Godin, noted marketing guru of Yahoo! fame.  While he is not talking about security, there is a fantastic correlation to how we see security and compliance today.

Thanks for stopping by, San Diego!
