Stay Classy, San Diego!

What was popular in February? Healthcare seems to be a popular topic and I’ll be posting more on it as the new security requirements mature.

Here are the five most popular posts from last month:

  1. Personal Liability for QSAs. I had a colleague ask me if he should take out personal liability insurance in case something bad happened on one of his assessments after he left his company.  Check out what I found out from Dave Navetta!
  2. Healthcare Security, the New Front. Boy, what a mess I caused.  After watching my doctor type in a four digit numeric password to access all of my medical records, I sent a letter over complaining about the lack of security and poor standard of care for my identity.  There is a follow up on this one from Tuesday!
  3. Think Blackberry is Safe?  Think again! Blackberries are typically seen as the most secure smartphone platform.  Check out this fun hack that makes it a nice spy device!
  4. Data Destruction is YOUR Responsibility. Warranties on faulty computer equipment can be a sigh of relief.  What if you have a computer crash and it requires a hard drive replacement?  What happens to all of your old data?
  5. On Writing: The Funnel vs. the Brain Dump. This post from October came back this month!  The post is inspired by Ben Tomhave’s The Writing Funnel, discusses how I create content, and gives tips for creating some of your own!

Thanks for stopping by, San Diego!
